Shock City Cellular was founded by Robb and Don Breding (Brothers) in 1999. The mission was to become the premier provider of wireless products and services in the Midwest area. They based their business model on 3 pillars or core values:
1) Customer Service: At Shock City “Customer Service” Provide the appropriate Goods and Services based on the customers unique needs and wants. How do we do this? By training our sales staff to be wireless experts and to know not just the products, but to follow a selling process that takes the time to discover each customer’s unique needs and wants before presenting a solution.
2) Associate Development: We believe that the best way to have a great company is to have great people. We are dedicated to training, developing and adding value to the people that populate our Shock City Stores.
3) Ethics: In any situation that you are faced with, just ask one simple question and you will have your solution: “What is the right thing to do?” We are committed to doing the right thing 100% of the time.
Today Shock City has evolved into an agent-owned operation. We have achieved “Premium” status as one of a select group of Verizon Wireless Premium Retailers. We have over 20 retail locations being operated by at least 8 different agent-owners. What does this mean for our customers? Better and more personal service!
